A note on food: bringing your cat's regular food helps avoid digestive upset, especially for picky eaters or cats with sensitivities. If you'd prefer, we provide premium food from brands like Acana, Farmina, and Royal Canin. To reserve your dates, message us directly.
House Rules
How does it work?
A few simple promises and policies that keep every guest safe, healthy, and happy during their stay.

Solo playtime
Every cat has its own playtime during the day. To ensure the safety of every visitor, we never let them all out together to play or roam around.
- 02
Hourly updates
Every owner gets hourly updates during the day, and if necessary, nightly routine checks on the cats (in addition to camera surveillance).
- 03
A quick goodbye visit
Owners are required to stay at least 5 to 10 minutes with their cat and play with them — a small but important step to make sure the cat doesn't feel abandoned.
- 04
Health-first policy
If a cat refuses to eat (any food or treats), drink, or use the litter box for more than 3 days, we let the owners know and either ask them to pick up the cat or arrange transport elsewhere.

- Check In: 24/7. Check Out before 14:00.
- Check Out after the listed hours will count as a full day.
Acceptance Rules
To ensure the health and safety of all visitors, it is mandatory to present the cat's updated health booklet during the reservation, with all required and valid vaccinations. This allows us to maintain a safe, healthy, and protected environment for all our four-paw friends.
We do not accept un-vaccinated guests.

A small idea, born in Tirana.
About Us
We started with one cat, a notebook, and a stubborn idea.
The Meowtel began when our founder kept hearing the same complaint from cat parents in Tirana: every boarding option in the city was built for dogs, and cats came second. The hospitality wasn't there.
So we built something different. A boutique hotel exclusively for cats — quiet, separated, soundproofed, and run by people who actually understand how cats behave when they're stressed. Every detail is intentional, from the wood grain on the suites to the soft paw-print blankets in every cubby.
The store grew naturally from the same instinct: stocking only the brands we'd feed our own cats, and only the accessories we'd actually use.
